About
From the time many years back we started using WordPress for a majority of our websites, we have been testing out WordPress skins from various designers and developers.
We usually install and test 3 or more templates for a specific theme, and the template that best reflects our own or client’s requirements would of course be selected.
What do we do with the two or more templates we tested?
It’s a shame if we just throw them away. These are usually high-quality themes, except that they do not meet our, or our clients’, specific requirements. But others may find them suitable to their new projects or even to re-skin their sites. We just wanted to share them with you. Feel free to grab them.
Although we, or our clients, have not used the other themes, these are equally high-quality themes. They could beat other “premium” themes page for page and code for code. And you could also take comfort in the fact that we have already tested them out. You may want to know that we have been in the business since 1996.
But how do we choose a WordPress theme?
Everyone knows that the internet is already full of articles written on this topic. No point re-inventing the wheel, so to speak. As at date of this writing, Jan 29, 2010, there were 302,000 pages indexed by Google on the topic. Here are 4 of the top pages:
